Two points:
1: Lucasfilms and derivatives thereof and George Lucas are two separate entities with different concerns. George Lucas might not even be familiar with the game or it's premise (I don't know if he plays videogames or cares anything about them).
2:Drop kicking Jawas.

Lucas is very aware of the Force Unleashed Series. He said in an interview a a couple of years ago that the concept and story were his ideas.
As for the main chracter coming back... I'm interested to see how they pull this off.

That would explain the rather egregious violations of EU canon from the first game...it looked to me like they weren't even trying to make it work with previous material.

Since EU "canon" isn't really considered canocial at all by Lucas, it's basically not posible to violate it

Just posted something similar elsewhere but as you say
Why then do you think, that if an EU can't violate canon, are authors not allowed to write about certain subjects within Star Wars. I believe there was a Darth Bane book or someother Darth that Lucas books said couldn't be written.
This perhaps warrants a thread of it's own.

You gbot me wrong there. I didn't say that the EU can't violate the canon. I said Goerge Lucas can't violate the EU "canon" because he doesn't consider it as a canon of any value at all (besides the money he makes of it I guess).

The same canon argument comes into the first Timothy Zahn Trilogy...supposedly the C'Baoth clone was going to be an insane clone of Obi-Wan Kenobi...why would Lucas have nixed that idea if he really did not consider the novels canon.
